A Fortunate Sunday
This weekend I celebrated by fortieth birthday. It was quite perfect. Spent in solitude, it allowed me to really sit with myself and feel all the feels. I laughed and danced in my hotel room. And I absolutely took some time to ugly cry. About what? You know, everything and nothing. It was just a necessary release. I love to move my feelings with a good cry.
Throughout the weekend, the word that kept coming to mind was fortunate. To be alive, I feel fortunate. To live this life, I feel fortunate. To step into another decade, I feel fortunate. To have another chance to get it all together, I feel fortunate.
And just so grateful. You know? And joy-FULL.
On this Sunday, I am basking in the great fortune of my life. Do you understand?
In what ways are you fortunate?
It's a word we don't consider enough, I think.
I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday so far. + be sure to check out the other goodies that just dropped in the Sunday School Collection! AND! Hopefully I'll see you later at the Better Mornings Challenge Kickoff!
With Love,
