Time for a new name.
Who loves a good and timely change? Me.
Hey there, my friends. I wanted to share a quiet shift that’s been unfolding in my work, one that feels both natural and necessary. For a while now, I’ve felt myself being pulled deeper into the heart of my writing. I’ve shared this, so some of you are aware. But I am quite over just the quick shares or passing reflections. I’ve been longing for the kind of steady, intentional work that asks something more of me and gives something more in return.
As that calling became clearer, I knew I needed a home for it. A space that could hold the full range of my voice: the personal essays, the daily Prompted practice, the teachings, the stories, the slow work of expansion and the way I’m learning — still — to live freely and well.
So I’ve renamed this space Notes on Living Free + Well. Sunday + Other Musings is a forever season, so those themes will remain. But.
This new name (which I’m pretty sure I’ve used somewhere before) feels like an umbrella for this next season. A place wide enough to cover my evolution.
I won’t spell out everything just yet, but I can say this: I’m making more room for writing. I’m letting myself grow as an author. I’m leaning into a quieter, more rooted rhythm that still offers depth, intimacy, and truth — but with a stronger sense of direction.
With this shift comes a clearer rhythm for what you can expect here:
For all subscribers:
You’ll receive my weekly (on average) essays. The honest reflections and stories that have carried my work for so many years. You’ll also receive one (on average) Prompted each week, usually on Sunday.
For paid subscribers:
You’ll receive Prompted every single day (typically first thing in the morning) — a daily moment of grounding and self-inquiry. You’ll also receive additional weekly offerings, which may be an extended essay, an audio note or podcast episode, a tool or digital offering/worksheet or a deeper dive into the personal frameworks I’m building in real time. These are the pieces that live in the “deeper rooms” of my work. The ones that hold more context, more teaching, and more of the truth behind how I’m shaping this next chapter of my life. As well as how I navigated the chapters that got me here.
My hope is that both tiers feel nourishing and meaningful. And that paid members feel the closeness, intentionality and consistency they came for.
You’ll notice subtle shifts here: more essays, more reflection, more consistency, and a little more intention behind the way I share. And as always, an open invitation to walk with me as I figure it out in real time.
Things are changing for the better.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading my words.
And thank you for growing with me as this space (and me) becomes what it is destined to be. This next chapter is all new, and I’m so ready for the beauty it has in store.
With love and care,
Brandie
